Snapshot Barcode Reader will not work with a notebook or laptop (HW180) Problem: Barcode readers utilize a keyboard wedge to communicate back to the PC or notebook. When a Laptop or a Notebook is used and no keyboard is attached, the barcode reader will not be able to send any data back to the PC.
Solution: For a temporary solution: Attach a keyboard and detach it once the command is sent. For a permanent solution: Check the Snapshotdecoded.pdf file on the CD provided from Percon. Check in the other controls section of this manual and locate "REQUIRE KEYBOARD". Scan the OFF barcode.
