How to replace the bad startup file in Windows 98 (HW138)

Go to a Dos prompt,
at the C:\Windows prompt type "SYS A:" (enter)
at Windows\Command directory type "SYS.COM A:" (enter)

at any prompt type A: sys c:
receive message system trasfered
restart the computer.
