File Access Denied (HW131)
Error:
File Access Denied
Cause:
When copying the software to another station, some files could be flagged with
read only attribute.
Client used a CD burner to transfer the files. All files on a CD are flagged as
read only.
Check the share properties. The share does not have full control for everyone.
Solution:
Change the attributes by running the following command:
example: go to command prompt and in the directory of Compulink software type
the following command:
attrib -r -h -s *.*
FYI: (r=read, h=hidden, s=system)
Add full control for everyone to the share where compulink folder resides.
