Error 5017 : Data was to long for the destination and was truncated Memo field overflow (SW212)

Problem:

Client running Windows XP using the BizCard Reader in 8.0 received error 5017:Data was to long for the destination and was truncated. Memo field overflow. This only happens when scanning very graphic detailed cards.

Cause:

Higher resolution scanning is not supported in Compulink software.

Solution:

Set scanning range at 100 or 200 dpi, grayscale.  Only use color when necessary for clarity.
