Windows NT, CRPE32.DLL and MFC42.DLL error when running reports caused by Crystal Reports DLLs These versions of the DLL for the OS do not match the versions of the Crystal Reports DLL in the product directory. If the CRPE32.DLL or MFC42.DLL errors are received, remove these DLL from the product directory. Make sure these DLLs are in the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. This directory should contain both CRPE32.DLL and MFC42.DLL. Both DLLs should be dated 2003 or newer. If they already exist, rename the current to the old extension and place the new DLLs in this directory. They can be downloaded from the Compulink-support site at following location: |
